Preschool Palace Curriculum is an age-appropriate, complete 10 month preschool curriculum for ages 2 1/2-5 designed for daycares, preschools, and homeschooling families.

The curriculum includes daily lesson plans, monthly planner, craft ideas, and printable worksheets related to the themes of the month.

Kindergarten readiness skills are incorporated into each day's lesson plans.  Kindergarten readiness skills include pre-writing skills, fine motor activities, gross motor games, song and dance,

The Preschool Curriculum is arranged into 3 cycles.

Each cycle covers the entire ABC's, numbers 1-20, standard colors, standard shapes, and standard themes such as seasons, apples in September, pumpkins in October, leaves in November, etc.  However, each cycle also contains some themes not covered in other cycles, such as fairy tale theme, teddy bear picnic, and outer space.  In addition, each cycle contains only some of the same activities, and the songs, printables, cooking options, and crafts are different for each cycle.   While the basics are covered each year, variety is given in the cycles for students who are in preschool for more than one year, as well as to provide some variety for the teacher or parent providing the lessons.

EVERY MONTH IN EACH CYCLE INCLUDES:

  • Songs, circle time activities, group games, learning activities, sensory ideas, craft ideas, cooking projects.
  • Circle time printable posters.
  • 15-25 printable worksheets each month.
  • Easy and affordable! 1 low cost - regardless how many children are in your care.
  • Suggested activities and crafts are designed to use low cost materials, still educational, and still very cute!
  • 2 Different Cycles.  Ideal for teachers/parents who want different ideas/craft ideas/etc. and for children who are in the same program for more than 1 years so the ideas are not all repeated.  One Cycle is not more advanced than the other - They are both for children ages 3-5.

Why have 3 separate cycles?

Would you like to teach the same exact curriculum with the same books, crafts, printables, each school year?  Some teachers say yes, because they have a new set of students each year.  Some teachers say no, because they might have a mixed age group or homeschool and the students do not need a repeat of the exact same material each year.  Some teachers may pick and choose the best activities/crafts/etc. from each cycle for their group. Cycle 3 will be very different from Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 which are presented in a very standard (and appropriate!) format using Letter of the Week in ABC order.  Cycle 3 will present the letters out of order and will strive to include some very unique activities in addition to a complete, standard preschool curriculum.

Can I download an entire cycle at 1 time?

Cycle 1 is available for purchase on CD for the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 school year (Sept - June).  The material is the same for each year, however the dates have been changed to match the new calendar year.   If you want an entire year on CD, only Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 are both available at this time.

What are the themes for each cycle?
Each cycle covers all the letters, numbers 1-20, all shapes, all colors, and standard U.S. holidays. 

CYCLE 1, by month:

Name games, creepy crawlers, fire safety, pumpkins, Halloween, digging for dinosaurs in the dirt, feathers, finger paint, footprints

CYCLE 3: Coming Summer 2012 

  • Letters will be introduced out of ABC order, and according to phonemes, usage, and easy of letter formations. 

  • More theme-based than Cycle 1 and Cycle 2.  Not better, just different!

  • No daily integration of US recognized holidays - though a supplemental Holiday Theme pack will be included.

  • In standard 4 week format, not date based.  Can be used multiple years regardless of calendar dates.
