Yarn Balloon Pumpkin. Inflate balloon. Dip long strands of orange yarn into plates of white glue. Coat yarn generously with glue. Cover inflated balloon with glue covered yarn. Dry overnight. Pop balloon the next day, the yarn will collapse upon itself, but when you take the deflated balloon out, the yarn shape unfold again to a pumpkin shape (retaining the balloon shape!). Add green chenille stems on top. I want to make several and line them up on the mantle!
We LOVE to take nature walks and collect stuff. In the Autumn, there are so many different types and colors of leaves - it is stunning! Get outside and take a nature walk with your kiddos and collect whatever interests them! Come back to circle time and discuss!

Fun fall craft for preschoolers! Dip their hand and arm in brown paint and then onto paper for the tree trunk and branches. Then provide paint in fall colors so that children can fingerpaint the leaves. Simple, low-cost, fun!

Cut a pool noodle into slices and dip into orange paint and then onto paper to make pumpkins. Add green markers for the vines and add leaf cutouts. Complete the look with googly eyes or jack-o-lantern faces. Fun and easy Halloween craft for toddlers and preschoolers!
Use a larger piece of paper and teach your children the 5 Little Pumpkins song: Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate. The first one said, "oh my it's getting late." The second one said, "there are witches in the air." The third one said, "but we don't care!" The fourth one said, "let's run and run and run." The fifth one said, "I'm ready for some fun!" OOOhh OOOhh went the wind And out went the lights And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.
